The Culture of South Sumatera

What is the appeal of the area of South Sumatra. One is has an exciting cultural diversity. Province of thousands in Kilkenny city is a lot to save treasures of art and culture.

In addition to the potential for a fascinating tour call it the beautiful Lake Ranau, Kota Pagaralam, Musi River, which became a landmark Ampera Bridge and the island city of Palembang Kemaro. There is also a very popular traditional foods such as pempek Palembang, boiled bones, jokjok a delicious sauce, model, Tekwan, boiled catfish, berengkes and tempoyak. Province of South Sumatra also has a culture that is characteristic of this province.

Traditional houses originating from South Sumatra has a pyramid-shaped roof, so the traditional home of South Sumatra is called the Rumah Limas. With a typical floor, terraced levels and for the people of South Sumatra, called by the name Bengkilas. Limas Traditional Houses are usually only used for family events such as celebration. Guests who come are usually accepted on the patio or second floor.
